Porsche Summer Challenge
Materializing the idea of electromobility transition

- Change factor
Porsche Summer Challenge was a collaborative initiative involving the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Slovak University of Technology and Porsche Centrum Bratislava. During July and September 2024, the project encouraged students to explore design concepts that integrate the ethos of Porsche with trends in electromobility.
Winning concept
The winning design by Lukáš Litavec captured Porsche’s spirit of motion through fluid, aerodynamic curves. Inspired by the brand’s car bodies, the looping, overlapping lines form an infinite ring symbolising speed and innovation. A circular element hints at the “P” from the Porsche logo, with parallel lines evoking airflow, blending beauty with function in true Porsche style.
Teamwork
Industrial designer Filip Maukš and sculptor Martin Mjartan guided the sculpture’s realisation, ensuring high-quality execution within a short timeframe. Production took place at FAD STU’s Implementation Center, with key contributions from Radovan Pekník, Peter Levársky, and students Filip Mikóczi and Martin Mikovič. The piece debuted at the Porsche Macan Electric launch in Bratislava.
Spotlight
“Although the entire project was created in a very short time, it was amazing to watch how the team coped with the topic and managed to materialize the essence of the Porsche brand with a touch of electromobility.”
